Last year criminal gangs stole over £470m by pretending to be your bank or other service provider. 159 is the memorable, secure number that contacts you directly to your bank if you think you’re being scammed.

They are sending imitation text messages, emails and making phone calls pretending to be from the NHS, and offering fake vaccine certificates for sale online and through social media.

Unnecessary Storage of Petrol. There is no shortage of fuel, panic buying is causing the current problems at petrol stations. Please don’t buy extra petrol in fuel cans for storage at home unless it is absolutely necessary, e.g. for lawn mowers etc. Storing petrol is highly hazardous.

Driver fined for breach of weight restrictions - Section 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Skew Bridge is narrow road bridge over a railway on the A329 near Lower Basildon, Berkshire.  It is subject to a 7.5 tonne weight restriction under the West Berkshire District Council (A329 Streatley to Pangbourne Road, Basildon) (7.5 Tonnes Weight Restriction) Order 2004.  It has a one way system with traffic lights as it is not wide enough for two way traffic and not suitable for Heavy Goods vehicles (HGVs).
